The Company's rich history, which includes ship outfitting, railway construction and aviation, gave way to developing practical and accessible means of transportation for post-war Italy when the first Vespa motor scooter was designed in 1946.

Warranty: All Piaggio and Vespa scooters are covered by a one year unlimited mile warranty. The coverage, outlined in the vehicles warranty manual, includes any manufacturer's defect for parts and includes labor. Maintenance and some other exception items (wear parts) are not covered under warranty.
